Theremonic, 2O23
Curated by Sophie Delaney
Presented by Emergence Collective
‘Theremonic’ was an audio visual interactive exhibition featuring the work of Fin Wegener (Abstract Human Radio) and Lauren Sherlock. This work generated a visual expression of the human body through AI motion capture. A digital landscape, performance art and interactive elements highlight this exhibition as a meeting place between our simulated worlds and reality.
Alongside our principle artists, ‘Theremonic’ also platformed 8 emerging Brisbane artists: Connor Andree-Evarts, Dean Ansell, Mysterreyy, Tess King, Jack Lacey, Amy Vowles, Micah Rustichelli & Kirralee Robinson
‘Theremonic’ is proudly sponsored by the Creative Sparks Program; an initiative of Brisbane City Council in partnership with Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
Theremonic is also proudly sponsored by: Brisbane City Council, Arts Queensland, Queensland Government, Crumpler, 4ZZZ Radio, Totally Legit Tattoo Studio, Your Local Film Lab
